The Friends of Somerset Archives A main objective of this organisation is tro support the Archive Offices of the County in providing funds to purchase documents for the use of the general public for research. You may like to attend one of the organisation's events to be held on Saturday 13th September 2008 at 7.00 pm at the Wellsprings Leisure Centre, Taunton, when Mr Tom Mayberry, Lecturer and Historian will be speaking on "Discovering Somerset's History" and Dr Nick Barratt, a Family History Consultant will be asking "Who Do You Think You Are?".
